Contract for Planning and Environmental Services for <br />General Plan Circulation Element Update <br />AUGUST 249 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />Based on the need to comply with State law to update of the General Plan Circulation Element <br />with complete streets policies in conjunction with the fixed guideway approvals, as well as the <br />consultants' qualifications and experience in preparing General Plan and transportation strategies <br />in mature urban settings, it is recommended that the IBI Group be awarded the contract for this <br />project. The total contract amount for the preparation of the Circulation Element and <br />environmental documentation will not exceed $500,000, which includes a $25,000 contingency. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds in the amount of $500,000 are available in the Traffic Congestion Relief HUT 2013 fund <br />(accounting unit 05917663-66220).
