shall provide the City with a local telephone number where Contractor can be contacted <br />twenty -four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.. <br />II. MINIMUM CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS <br />1. The Contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years in business in industrial /commercial <br />painting, and shall provide documentation verifying this experience. <br />2. The Contractor must be experienced in modern traffic control methods and have knowledge <br />of the W.A.T.C.H. handbook. The Contractor shall provide documentation verifying this <br />level of experience. <br />3. Contractor certifies that it has sufficient access to both required product and labor resources <br />to paint the contract number of poles within ten (10) weeks of execution of the Agreement. <br />4. Contractor shall provide written notarized warranty for workmanship for one (1) year (Labor <br />and Materials bond). <br />5. Any Contractor that fails to provide the required proof of qualifications shall have its <br />proposal declared "nonresponsive" and its submittal shall not be considered for this proposal. <br />By submission of a proposal, Contractor agrees that the City of Santa Ana shall have sole <br />authority to make determinations as to Contractor's compliance with these minimum <br />qualifications. <br />III. SPECIFICATIONS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 WORK INCLUDED <br />The work includes furnishing of materials and equipment, preparation of surfaces and completion <br />of the painting and finishing of all surfaces as specified herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK <br />A. The following surfaces shall not be painted pursuant to this agreement: <br />1. Pre - finished luminaire fixtures. <br />2. Banners and banner mounting poles. <br />3. Surfaces specifically scheduled or noted not to be painted. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product data: <br />1. Not less than thirty (30) days before beginning work, submit a complete list of <br />materials proposed for use, together with manufacturer's specifications. <br />2. Paint materials and products shall be subject to City approval. <br />B. Color samples: <br />1. Prepare all color and finishes on samples of similar substrate, 6" x 6" in size. <br />2. Samples shall be submitted as requested until required sheen, color and texture is <br />achieved. <br />3. Label and identify each sample as to location and application. <br />25G -13 <br />
