2. Pepperdine University Davenport Institute 2011 Community Engagement Grant This <br />grant opportunity arises out of a program offered by the Davenport Institute at Pepperdine <br />University. The goal of this grant is to assist cities, and other agencies, in legitimately <br />engaging the public to create solutions to policy issues. The grant will provide funding for <br />consultant services. The potential maximum grant award is $15,000. There is no matching <br />requirement for this grant. <br />This grant would be used to augment the public outreach budget for the Circulation <br />Element Update. <br />The deadline for submitting the HUD Community Challenge Grant is September 9, 2011. The <br />deadline for submitting the Davenport Institute Community Engagement Grant is September 14, <br />2011. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with these actions. <br />lu .
