EXHIBIT D <br />HVAC <br />Minimum Standard Safe, sound and in good working order. <br /> • Eight or more ears of practical utility. <br />Rehabilitation • HVAC that does not meet the minimum standard shall be replaced. <br /> Practical, cost effective repairs are acceptable as long as compliance with <br /> the minimum standard will be achieved. <br /> • Tune-up all HVAC equipment (as a minimum). <br /> • Seal all ducts (as a minimum). <br /> • All new HVAC equipment shall be sized properly. <br /> <br />Furnaces ,_ <br />Reputable manufacturer. <br /> • EPA Energy Star qualified. <br />Central Air Conditioners Reputable manufacturer. <br /> • EPA Energy Star qualified. <br />Thermostats • Reputable manufacturer. <br /> • EPA Energy Star qualified. <br /> • Programmable. <br />Minimum Standard • Additions and alterations that were constructed without a building <br />permit and are clearly substandard shall be removed. <br />• Additions and alterations that were constructed without a building <br />permit, but appear to be compliant, shall be inspected by the City's <br />Building Official to determine if a building permit can be issued and they <br />can be saved.
