ROH - 09/12/11 <br />• RESOLUTION NO. 2011-14 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. <br />2011-04 TO ALLOW AN EXTERIOR AND EXPANSION FOR <br />FREEWAY HONDA LOCATED WITHIN THE SANTA ANA <br />AUTO MALL AT 1505 SOUTH AUTO MALL DRIVE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find, determine and declare <br />as follows: <br />A. The Applicant is requesting approval to allow the exterior remodel and <br />expansion of its showroom and service area canopy located at 1505 South <br />Auto Mall Drive, which is within the Specific Development No. 60 (SD -60) <br />zoning district. Specifically, the applicant is requesting approval to expand <br />its showroom to the south, bring the exterior design and color schemes up to <br />current Honda standards, and to expand the service area canopy to <br />increase stacking space. <br />• B. Section 41-593.5(c) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code requires a review by <br />the Planning Commission of all plans within a specific development plan <br />area to ensure the project is in conformity with the Specific Plan. <br />C. Site Plan Review No. 2011-04 came before the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Santa Ana on September 12, 2011. <br />D. The project is in compliance with all applicable development standards <br />outlined within the Specific Development Plan (SD -60). <br />0 <br />E. This project was reviewed in accordance with the Guidelines for the <br />California Environmental Quality Act. The recommendation is exempt from <br />further review pursuant to Section 15303. This Class 3 exemption allows in- <br />fill developments for the construction and location of limited numbers of new, <br />small facilities or structures. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review <br />No. 2011-39 will be filed for this project. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />approves Site Plan Review No. 2011-04 as conditioned in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein. This decision is based upon the evidence submitted at the above <br />said hearing, which includes, but is not limited to: the Request for Planning Commission <br />Action dated September 12, 2011, and exhibits attached thereto; and the public testimony, <br />all of which are incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Resolution No. 2011-14 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
