Mayor Pro <br />Tern Alvarez thanked all speakers who addressed the City Council on the <br />matter; City to review all revenue enhancements; and City of Garden <br />Grove willing to negotiate on proposed site. Councilmember Sarmiento <br />noted that CEQA requirements are facilitated with recommended action; <br />invited soccer leagues to be engaged. Councilmember Bustamante would <br />not support building new stadium with taxpayer money; invited <br />neighborhood leaders to be involved. Councilmember Tinajero noted that <br />item first step in transparency; community input needed. Councilmember <br />Benavides would like to continue dialogue with community and provide <br />status of negotiations in 2 -3 months.
