• Designate a Workshop Coordinator to secure a meeting room, provide equipment, <br />arrange refreshments, and take care of all logistical elements as outlined in the <br />Guide to Organizing a Workshop. <br />APBP reserves the right to limit workshop size to 40 participants to assure the level of <br />interaction necessary between participants, and between participants and instructors. <br />The CLIENT designates the following person as its Workshop Coordinator responsible <br />for completing the tasks described in the Guide to Organizing a WorKshop: <br />Workshop Coordinator Name Telephone Email address <br />This contract is for eons-day National Complete Streets Coalition Laying the <br />Foundation for Comp/ete Streets workshop on November 7, 201 1 in Santa Ana, <br />California. Plus support during the workshop planning process; two instructors' <br />preparation and teaching time, travel, lodging, per diem and aone-hour post-workshop <br />consultation conference call; and participant packets. The total fee for this workshop is <br />$8,500. <br />However, the total fee due from the City of Santa Ana is reduced by the unspent <br />balance of a pre-paid workshop cancelled two weeks before is scheduled January 2009 <br />date. On September 23, 2008, the YMCA of Orange County on behalf of a community <br />coalition contracted with the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals to <br />provide a National Complete Streets Coalition workshop in January 2009. This grant- <br />funded workshop was pre-paid, and expenses and professional time accrued prior to its <br />late cancellation. The unspent remaining pre-paid workshop funds total $6,870. <br />The balance due for the 2011 workshop from the City of Santa Ana is $1,630. <br />An invoice will be sent at the conclusion of the event. The CLIENT agrees to pay this <br />invoice upon receipt.
