i ~ <br />~~ ~A'~~: <br />FEBRUARY 20, 200. <br />AGREEMENT FOR INSPECTION <br />SERVICES WITH EUGENIA KOKINACIS <br />I <br />R~~ <br />~~~1TI~ ~JlR~~'C3k~ <br />~~ ~~~ <br />R~OC~6~~~~lG S~OR~TAR~ IJS~ QPlLY: <br />Af~F~f~OV~D <br />© As Recommended <br />® As Amended <br />CC3iV~ItVU~D TO <br />Direct the Authority Attorney to prepare, and authorize the Chairman and <br />Executive Director to execute, an agreement with Eugenia Kokinacis to <br />perform Housing Quality Standards {HQS} inspections and other support <br />services in an amount not to exceed $25,000. <br />REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br />Recommend that the Housing Authority direct the Authority Attorney to <br />prepare, and authorize the Chairman and Executive Director to execute, <br />an agreement with Eugenia Kokinacis to perform Housing Quality Standards <br />(HQS) inspections and other support services in an amount not to exceed <br />$25,000. <br />By a vote of "7:0 at its Regular Meeting of February 6, 2001. <br />DISCUSSION <br />~n April 2000, the Executive Director approved a $10,000 agreement with <br />Eugenia Kokinacis to provide Housing Quality Standards (HQS) <br />inspections, HQS re-inspections, research and preparation of rent <br />reasonableness data. Ms. Kokinacis has completed the initial work under <br />the contract; however, the Housing Authority is in need of continuing <br />support for HQS inspections. Given the scope and depth of these <br />services, staff recommends increasing Ms. Kokinacis' contract to <br />$25,000. <br />
