DCT �- 5 2011 FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on October 5, 201 1, by <br />and between M. Dolores Ramos ( "Consultant ") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br />California ( "City "). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into that certain Agreement N- 2011 -050, dated March 28, 2011, <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement ") by which Consultant 1=-as provided grant writing services. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to amend the <br />Scope of Service and increase compensation to pay for the additional services. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all <br />the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment to <br />Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 1, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the <br />following: <br />"a. Consultant shall compile information and complete grant applications for Proposition 84 <br />Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program, as set forth in <br />Consultant's Proposal dated February 24, 2011, attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br />incorporated by this reference. <br />b. Consultant shall compile information including project summary, narrative, cost estimate, <br />maps and other required information and documents, and complete the grant application for <br />funding through the California River Parkways Program for the Santiago Park Trail and <br />Landscape Improvements. Consultant shall deliver to City, the complete grant application <br />package in a timely manner to allow the City to submit the application on or before the <br />October 14, 201 1 submission deadline." <br />2. Section 3, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by $5,000.00, to <br />pay for the additional services set forth at Section l.b., above, at the hourly rate of $75.00, <br />plus expenses. The total sum to be expended under this Agreement shall not exceed <br />$10,000.00 during the term of this Agreement." <br />3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />/// <br />/// <br />
