<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-08 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING ACCEPTANCE OF <br />500 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS FROM THE UNITED <br />STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN <br />DEVELOPMENT UNDER THE SECTION 8 HOUSING <br />CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION THEREOF <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1, The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A, The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana ("PHA") is authorized to <br />administer the "Housing Choice Voucher Program" for the Section 8 <br />Program and a Family Self-Sufficiency program for the United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"), <br /> <br />B. HUD notified the PHA that 500 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers in <br />connection with the Fair Share Allocation are available which would <br />increase the number of persons of low- and moderate-income who <br />may be assisted with housing through the Housing Authority of the City <br />of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />C, The additional Section 8 Housing Vouchers are consistent with the <br />Consolidated Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2, The acceptance of 500 Housing Choice Vouchers awarded <br />by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in <br />connection with the Fair Share Allocation is hereby approved, <br /> <br />Section 3. The Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to accept an allocation of 500 <br />additional Housing Choice Vouchers and execute all necessary documents as <br />may be required. <br /> <br />Section 4, The Secretary is hereby authorized to impress the official <br />seal of the PHA on such documents evidencing the approval and authorizing the <br />execution thereof as may be required by Government. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Section 5, <br />adoption, <br /> <br />This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its <br /> <br />Resolution No, 2001- XXX <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
