<br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-03 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SUBMISSION OF AN <br />APPLICATION FOR THE SECTION 8 WELFARE-TO-WORK HOUSING <br />VOUCHER PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana (PHA) is <br />authorized to administer the U Housing Assistance Section 8 Housing <br />Voucher Prograrn" for the United States Departrnent of Housing and Urban <br />Developrnent (U HUO" ); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD noticed on January 28, 1999 that vouchers were <br />available under the Section 8 Welfare-to-Work prograrn and has required <br />that the PHA file an application for these vouchers by April 28, 1999; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the PHA desires to enter into a Section 8 Annual <br />. Contributions Contract (U ACC" ) with the Department of Housing <br />Developrnent for the Section 8 Housing Voucher Prograrn. <br /> <br />and Urban <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PHA as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The subrnission of an application to HUO for vouchers is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Executive Director of the Housing Authority is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute the application and to take all necessary <br />steps to file said application and execute all docurnents in relation <br />to successful application. <br /> <br />. <br />
