REQUEST FOR HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY ACTION <br />MEETING DATE: <br />NOVEMBER 7, 20'11 <br />RECORDING SECRETARY USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />QUARTERLY REPORT FOR HOUSING <br />CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM: <br />JULY 2011 ~ SEPTEMBER 2011 <br />^ As Recommended <br />^ As Amended <br />CO~fTINUED TO <br />fNTERI XECUTIVE DfRECTOR <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Receive and file. <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br />At its Regular Meeting of November 1, 2011, by a vote of 6:0 (Morfin absent), the Community <br />Redevelopment and Housing Commission recommended that the Hauling Authority receive and <br />file the Quarterly Report for Hauling Choice Voucher Program: July 2011 _ September 201'1. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The July 2011 -September 2011 quarterly status report for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) <br />Rental Assistance Program provides statistics for the day-to-day activities of the Santa Ana <br />Housing Authority. The report is divided into three sections: Waiting List, Participants, and <br />Production. <br />Waitin List <br />As of September 30, 2011, there were 3,282 individuals/families on the waiting list. The waiting list <br />last opened October 1, 2007 and closed November 30, 2007.
