Therefore, in order to be considered for this grant funding cycle, it is <br />necessary to amend the seven-year CIP to include these improvements. <br />Given the need for these street improvements and the eligibility requirements defined by OCTA, <br />staff recommends that the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing submittal of these project <br />applications for funding consideration, and direct staff to incorporate the projects into the seven-year <br />CIP. Staff anticipates a response to the grant funding request in December 2011 and an OCTA <br />Board action on the call for projects in March 2012. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The required matching funds on these projects will be provided in the year of expenditure. <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />RG/ML <br /> <br />Raul Godinez Utr <br />Executive Dire Public Works Agency <br />Exhibit: 1.
