Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Authorize the Planning and Building Agency to send a Request for Proposals to qualified <br />consulting firms to provide environmental services for The Academy Charter High School at 1901 <br />North Fairview Street. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Planning Division staff has received an application from the Orangewood Children's Foundation <br />for the construction of a new charter high school to serve 450 students and house up to 80 <br />students located at 1901 North Fairview Street. During the review of this project, it was <br />determined that a mitigated negative declaration would be required to meet the requirements of <br />the California Environmental Quality Act. As a result, staff has prepared a Request for Proposal <br />for environmental services for this project and is seeking approval to send the document to three <br />qualified environmental firms (Exhibit 1). Once proposals have been received and evaluated, the <br />recommended firm will be submitted for review and action by the City Council. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this request. <br />Jay.
