DEFINITIONS <br /> <br /> Whenever in this Agreement the following terms are used, their meaning shall be <br /> as follows unless the context clearly requires otherwise: <br /> <br /> Agreement -The Funding Agreement to which this Exhibit A "Standard <br /> Conditions" is appended. <br /> <br /> Days--Calendar days unless otherwise expressly indicated. <br /> <br /> Month--Calendar month unless otherwise expressly indicated. <br /> Year--Calendar year unless otherwise expressly indicated. <br /> <br /> Eligible a Project Costs--Those project costs which are eligible for funding under <br /> the Act and applicable State law and implementing criteria. <br /> <br /> Force Account--The use of Supplier's own employees or equipment on the <br /> Project. <br /> <br /> Grant Amount--The total amount disbursed to Supplier under this Agreement. <br /> <br /> Public Water System or Public Water Supply System--A system for the provision <br /> to the public of water for human consumption, as defined in Part 12, Chapter 4 <br /> (commencing with Section 116270), of Division 104 of the Health and Safety Code, as it <br /> may be amended. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE A-2. TERM OF AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> Subject to the provisions of Article A-7, this Agreement shall become effective on <br /> the Date of Execution and shall remain in effect until the Project Completion Date, <br /> determined in accordance with the provisions of Article A-S. Such period of time shall <br /> be the term of this Agreement. <br /> ARTICLE A-3. BASIC CONDITIONS PRECEDENT <br /> <br /> State shall have no obligation to disburse funds under this Agreement unless <br /> and until <br /> <br /> (a) Supplier has provided satisfactory documentation of the action taken by its <br /> governing body authorizing it to enter into this Agreement, and designating a <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> <br /> 55A-25 <br />
