<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SAMPLE RESOLUTION - March 2008 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SIGNATURE OF A FUNDING AGREEMENT AND RELATED <br /> DOCUMENTS FOR FUNDING UNDER THE SAFE DRINKING WATER, WATER QUALITY <br /> AND SUPPLY, FLOOD CONTROL, RIVER AND COASTAL PROTECTION BOND ACT OF <br /> 2006 (PROPOSITION 84) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on the made <br /> application to the State of California for $ ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on , the State of California issued a Funding <br /> Agreement to committing grant funds under the Proposition 84 Program <br /> for (proiect description/number) subject to terms and conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on , said (entity name/Board of Directors) adopted a <br /> project budget totaling $ ; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the remaining $ of project costs are to be funded <br /> by, through, or with ; and (forjoint funded projects only-may <br /> need to use more than one line for this for multiple sources) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, prior to the State of California issuing said Funding Agreement, said <br /> (entity name/Board of Directors) is required to pass a resolution formally establishing <br /> a dedicated source of revenue for operation and maintenance costs associated with this <br /> Project, authorizing an officer to execute said Funding Agreement and amendments, <br /> designating a person to approve claims for reimbursement, designating a person <br /> (registered engineer) to sign the Budget and Expenditure Summary, designating a person <br /> (registered engineer) to sign Certification of Project Completion, and designating a person <br /> to sign the Final Release form.
