<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> includes all landscape areas, paved areas, street curb gutters, flood control <br /> channels, etc. Trash shall consist of all items 80 lbs. or less. All trash receptacles <br /> and lids shall be wiped clean continuously as stains appear. <br /> <br /> b) The contractor shall rake, hand remove, or vacuum leaves that are not <br /> absorbed by planting. This shall be done as often as required to maintain a neat <br /> appearance. <br /> c) After heavy windstorms or other inclement weather that impacts sites under <br /> this agreement, the Contractor shall bring in extra staff to clean all parks areas <br /> within two (2) days at no cost to the City. Debris (80 lbs. or less), such as but <br /> not limited to, litter, fallen branches, trash, limbs, branches, soil erosion, etc., <br /> shall be removed from the worksites. <br /> <br /> d) The Contractor shall keep sidewalks and all other paved areas swept and free <br /> of any debris, dirt, glass, weeds, leaves, etc. at all times. <br /> <br /> e) Drain inlets shall be checked and if necessary cleaned once per day to avoid <br /> flooding of areas during inclement weather. <br /> <br /> 14. Other Requirements <br /> <br /> a) Work Not Scheduled <br /> <br /> The Director may delete a portion of or the entire work site from contractual <br /> maintenance during a construction period or any period where the Director <br /> determines that work cannot be scheduled. The deletion of this portion of work <br /> will be reflected as a reduction in the monthly payment to the Contractor. The <br /> amount of reduction will be based on the percentage of area involved and will <br /> be determined by the City. <br /> <br /> 15. Special Maintenance <br /> <br /> In addition to the standard Grounds-Landscape Specification the following special <br /> maintenance shall be performed. <br /> <br /> a) P.E. Bike Trail (Chestnut to Bristol). In addition to the standard Grounds- <br /> Landscape Specification the following special maintenance shall be performed. <br /> <br /> (1) Adams to Bristol - The contractor shall keep the unimproved areas <br /> immediately adjacent the improved bike trail free of weeds, debris, <br /> and otherwise any objectionable item a minimum of 4' from fence <br /> lines and/or to the wall of adjacent buildings. <br /> (2) Warner Ave. to Occidental - The unimproved land immediately <br /> adjacent (east) of the improved bike trail is a part of this agreement. <br /> The Contractor shall maintain all plant material and keep <br /> unimproved areas free of weeds, trash and debris. <br /> (3) Flower west toward Bristol - This portion of the bike trail has an <br /> unimproved portion of property from Flower St. running west along <br /> 29 <br /> 25H-39 <br />
