PWAC�i <br />Suzy FyY�nic <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 200' day of December, 201 1 by and <br />between Mullen & Associates, Inc., a California Corporation, (hereinafter "Engineer"), and the <br />City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the <br />Constitution and laws of the State of California (hereinafter "City"). <br />AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br />N-2011-159 <br />RECITALS <br />A. The City desires to retain an engineer having special skill and knowledge in the field of <br />electrical systems and design to provide Jerome Park Security Lighting. <br />B. Engineer represents that Engineer is able and willing to provide such services to the <br />City. <br />C. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Engineer represents that it is <br />knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Engineer under this <br />Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as may reasonably be <br />expected from a professional engineering firm in the field. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Engineer shall: <br />1. Design electrical system for Parking Security Lighting, including photometrics of <br />all areas for the portion of the park east of Center Street. <br />2. Meet with City Staff to define: <br />a. Electrical requirements for new sports lighting; <br />b. Security lighting requirements; <br />c. Propose various types of vandal resistant fixtures and lamps, including <br />L.E.D.. <br />3. Coordinate service requirements with electrical company as required. <br />4. Detail electrical work to support competitive bidding, including: <br />a. Plan drawings; <br />b. Panel schedules; <br />c. Single line diagrams; <br />d. Photometrics; <br />e. Structural design of pole footings. <br />5. Field investigation as needed. <br />6. Review shop drawings and construction support <br />7. Specifications prepared by Mullen 8c Associates, Inc. <br />2. DELIVERY OF WORK PRODUCT - OWNERSHIP <br />In regard to all material produced as a deliverable under this Agreement, <br />including but not limited to records, papers, drawings, specifications, programs, systems <br />and other materials prepared by Engineer, Engineer agrees, for itself and its affected <br />
