FINAL MOTION: <br />Continue the public hearing to February 13, 2012. <br />MOTION: Mill SECOND: Yrarrazaval <br />AYES: Alderete, Gartner, Mill, Yrarrazaval (4) <br />NOES: Acosta (1) <br />ABSTAIN: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Nalle, Turner (2) <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENTS (on non -agenda items) <br />No public members spoke. <br />5. STAFF COMMENTS <br />No comments were made. <br />6. PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Yrarrazaval announced he will be in Sacramento on business and not <br />attending the February 13, 2012 meeting. <br />Commissioners Mill and Gartner voiced concerns with the sub committee to study <br />the City's policies and regulations related to alcohol sales; did not expect the <br />attendance of the multi -groups. Planning Manager Haluza provided information <br />regarding the value of other stakeholders input. Commissioner Gartner suggested a <br />field trip to adjoining cities, Fullerton, Brea and Orange. Staff will coordinate another <br />meeting just with the commissioners of the sub committee. <br />7. EXCUSE OF ABSENCES <br />Commissioner Yrarrazaval moved to excuse the absence of Commissioner Turner <br />due to illness.
