Speakers: Connie Hamilton, asked that the City Council consider the alternative map submitted by Thomas Gordon; would like to see less neighborhood associations with dual City Council representatives. Thomas Gordon, submitted alternative map for Council consideration; attached to the agenda report; seek compromise and asked the City Council to continue to work on boundary lines -maintain population equity and keep neighborhood associations boundaries together- Councilmember Tinajero noted that City Charter requires equal population distribution and Ad Hoc Committee accomplished goal; also neighborhood associations in more than one ward have more representatives they can reach out to; urged City Council to approve proposed ward map.
