Notwithstanding Article VI., Section 4, the members agree that no <br /> <br /> immunity available to the County or the Cities under state or federal law or regulation <br /> <br /> shall be waived with respect to any third party claim. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ARTICLE VII. <br /> <br /> WITHDRAWAL AND ADDITION OF MEMBERS <br /> <br /> <br /> 1. City Member Withdrawal. <br /> <br /> A. Initial Term. Cities shall be members of the Authority for an initial <br /> <br /> 10-year term. For Structural Fire Fund cities, the initial 10-year term shall begin on July <br /> <br /> 1, 2000 and end on June 30, 2010. For a cash contract City, the first 10-year term shall <br /> <br /> begin on July 1, 2000, only upon the consent of such city. Cash contract Cities that do <br /> <br /> not give such approval by July 1, 2000 shall give notice of withdrawal to the Clerk of the <br /> <br /> Authority by July 1, 2000, to be effective July 1, 2001. Failure to provide such notice <br /> <br /> shall be deemed that city's consent to a 10-year term, beginning July 1, 2000. <br /> Provided however, that the Cities of Stanton, Westminster and Buena <br /> <br /> Park may withdraw from the Authority by giving notice of withdrawal to the Clerk of the <br /> <br /> Authority by December 31, 2000, to be effective December 31, 2001.
