BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH <br />Rev. Lee de Leon <br />Chief Executive Officer <br />Templo Calvario Community Development Corporation <br />Santa Ana, California <br />Present Work <br />Rev. de Leon is the founding CEO of an emerging CDC in the heart of Orange <br />County, California. This CDC is a faith -based non - profit established by Templo <br />Calvario, a church that has had a long history,of compassion. <br />Under Rev. de Leon's leadership, the CDC has received national recognition by <br />several national entities; among them are the Annie E. Casey Foundation and <br />Wheaton College, which have recognized the CDC as a promising practice in the <br />work it has done among immigrants. In addition, in the spring of 2004, the US <br />Department of Health and Human Services featured the CDC in its series entitled <br />"Snapshots of Compassion." <br />Experience <br />For over twenty -five years, Rev. de Leon has been actively involved ministry to <br />communities In need. He has served as a pastor, church planter, non - profit <br />director and founder of several organizations and partnerships. <br />Education <br />Rev. de Leon received his education at California Baptist University and at Azusa <br />Pacific University (C.P.
