REQUEST FOR HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY ACTION <br />MEETING DATE: <br />MARCH 5, 2©'12 <br />RECORDING SECRETARY USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />TITLE <br />^ As Recommended <br />^ As Amended <br />QUARTERLY REPORT OF CONTRACTS <br />ENTERED INTO BY THE EXECUTIVE <br />DIRECTOR <br />CONTINUED TO <br />EX UTIVE DIRECTOR <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Receive and fife the Quarterly Report of Contracts entered into between October 1, 2011 and <br />December 31, 2011, valued at $25,000 and less. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On Octaber 6, 2008, the Housing Authority increased the Executive Director's authority to execute <br />agreements from an amount not to exceed $10,000 to $25,000. Agreements valued at greater <br />Phan $25,000 require approval by the Board of Directors. This is the same authority granted to the <br />City Manager by the voters through a Charter Amendment in November of 2006. The authority <br />granted to the Executive Director required the submission of a quarterly report to the Housing <br />Authority at a public meeting an afl such agreements.
