While constructing the pavement, the contractor encountered areas where the
pavement section was thicker than expected with a wet and unstable sub - grade. It
was recommended to remove the thicker sections and cement treat and re -grade the
sub grade. Council approved the additional funds on July 2, 2012. The costs are to
compensate the contractor for additional excavation and cement - treating the sub
grade. (PCO 7).
AGREED COST = $109,200
2. To protect the new asphalt street, Portland cement concrete bus and landing pads
were recommended to be placed along Greenville from Warner to Edinger. The costs
are to compensate the contractor to install nine new bus and landing pads. (PCO 4).
