N-2011-159 -001 <br />202 FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />0P, 112 <br />p: PWA/Oesigr) <br />SUZ 1 THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on February 6, 2012, by <br />wr �iGand between Mullen & Associates, Inc., a California corporation ("Consultant") and the City of <br />J Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution <br />and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement N-2011-159, dated December 20, 2011, (hereinafter "said <br />Agreement") by which Consultant has provided electrical engineering / lighting design <br />services. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to amend the <br />scope of services to provide electrical lighting design for an additional park, and increase <br />compensation to pay for the additional services provided <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all <br />the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment to <br />Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 1, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended to include, in addition to the lighting <br />services provided for the Jerome Park Security Lighting, Consultant shall provide electrical <br />engineering in relation to the French and 4th Street Plaza, as follows: <br />"For the French and 4th Street Plaza, Engineer shall: <br />1. Design electrical system for Plaza Lighting and receptacles for general and stage <br />purposes, including new electrical service pedestal. <br />2. Meet with City Staff to define: <br />a. Electrical requirements for new plaza lighting; <br />b. Lighting and power requirements. <br />3. Coordinate service requirements with electrical company as required. <br />4. Detail electrical work to support competitive bidding, including: <br />a. Plan drawings; <br />b. Panel schedules; <br />c. Single line diagrams; <br />d. Photometric diagram; <br />e. New meter/SCE coordination; <br />f. Structural detail for light pole footings. <br />5. Field investigation as needed. <br />6. Review shop drawings <br />7. Specifications prepared by Mullen & Associates, Inc." <br />2. Section 2, COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by $2,000.00, to <br />pay for the engineering services set forth above. Total compensation pursuant to said <br />Agrement shall not exceed $18,000.00 during the term of said Agreement. <br />
