In order to preserve the link between the traffic signals in the area and the <br /> main trunk line, it is recommended to install approximately 910 linear feet <br /> of communication circuit. <br /> <br /> ESTIMATED COST = $37,746.80 <br /> <br /> 2. Under a standing agreement, personnel of the County's material testing <br /> laboratory have been providing testing for the City's construction projects for <br /> years. They tested sub-grade soil, base material, asphalt concrete <br /> pavement, etc. However, due to a reduction in work forces, they were no <br /> longer able to provide those tests. The City had a backup testing firm under <br /> contract but funds in that contract were mostly expended by previous phases <br /> of the residential street repair projects. In order to ensure the work be <br />
