Housing Element Progress Report <br />March 19, 2012 <br />Page 2 <br />Housing Element Annual Progress Reports are due to the State Housing and Community Development <br />(HCD) and the State Office of Planning and Research no later than April 1st of each year, if a charter <br />city's housing element identifies the Acquisition and Rehabilitation of existing housing to meet Regional <br />Housing Need Allocation (RHNA) for the construction of new housing. In addition, the Progress Report <br />is required to be eligible for certain State funding programs such as the Housing Related Parks <br />Program (HRP). Per Government Code 65400, the report is to be considered at a public meeting <br />before the legislative body where members of the public may provide testimony and written comments. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. <br />17?? <br />MJa?d!Vl.
