Where a discrepancy exists between Federal and State prevailing wage rate, the higher of the two prevailing wage rates shall apply. Each bid shall be accompanied by cash, a cashier's or certified check payable to the City of Santa Ana, or bid bond issued by a corporate surety, for an amount not less than ten percent (10 %) of the aggregate of the bid, as a guarantee that the BIDDER will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded to him. The successful BIDDER must possess or obtain a valid California Class (A) Contractor's prior to the scheduled award dale of this contract. The City of Santa Ana has established an Annual Anticipated DBE Participation space for filing stamp only Level (AADPL) of 14.18% (6.371 Race Neutral and 7.811 Race Conscious) for projects constructed this fiscal year. This project has e specific UDBE pontract goal of 7.81%.This percentage shall apply to the cost of the entire project. The UDBE commitment form Exhibit 15-Gl may be submitted with the bid proposal. If the UDBE form is not submitted with the bid, the apparent low bidder, the second low bidder, and the third low bidder must complete and submit the form to the City. The Form must be received by the City no later than the time specified in the Federal Requirement of Appendix H of the Special Provisions. The time for completion of this contract is 110 working days, the first 50 working days of which is for construction, and the last 60 working days for the landscape and irrigation maintenance period. Liquidated damages of $760.00 per working day shall begin following the completion of the first 50 working days after Notice to Proceed is issued.
