INSPIC"PIONS AND AUDITS <br />A. Any autlorized z~epresentative of City, the Comptroller General of the United States, <br />the United States Department of I-lousing and Urban Development or any of their <br />authorized representatives, shall have access to City books, docuxrzents, records, <br />which such persons clcen~ l.~ertine€at to this Agreement, for the purpose of conducting <br />azz audit, evaluation, or examination, or n~aldng transcripts during the periods of <br />retentioa~ set forth in the Records/Cent€dcntiality paragraph of this Agreement and the <br />prez~~ises in which they arc provided. <br />B. City shall actively participate a€~d cooperate with any persons specified in <br />subparagraph A above i€7 any evaluation or monitoring of the services pravided <br />pursuant to the Agreement, and shall provide the above mentioned persons adequate <br />office space to conduct such evaluation or nonitoring. <br />IX. Ll_CENSES AND LAW <br />A. Project Sponsor, its officers, agents, employees, and subcontractors shall, throughout <br />the term of this Agreement, maintain all necessary licenses, permits, approvals, <br />certificates, waivers and cxcn~ptions necessary for the provision of the services <br />hereunder and required by the laws and regulations of the United States, State of <br />Califoz-nia, City, and any other applicable governmental agencies. <br />B. Project Sponsor shall comlaly with all laws, rules, or regulations applicable to the <br />services provided hcreu€zdcr, as any may now exist or be hereafter changed. These <br />laws, rules, and regc€lations shall. i€~clude, but not limited to the following: <br />Unitccl States Cade (U.S.C.}, title 42, Section 12901-12912, AIDS Housing <br />Opportunity ACt. <br />2. Code of l~ecleral lZcg~€lations (CrR}, Title 24, Part 5~'4, Housing <br />Opportunities for I'ersozas with AIDS. <br />3.
