City representatives have <br />met and conferred with labor union representatives, and this requirement has been duly met. A <br />copy of the side letter from SEIU is attached. <br />Cost <br />Driver's Alert guarantees a minimum 25% reduction in at-fault crashes in 12 months, or the entire <br />program is free for the first year. The annual program cost is $6,000.00 for 250 vehicles at $24.00 <br />per vehicle, plus aone-time Program Setup fee of $100.00, for a total cost of $6,100.00. Driver's <br />Alert is providing a 25% discount which reduces the service agreement cost to $4,575.00. <br />Recommendation <br />Authorize City to enter into a service agreement with Driver's Alert in the amount of $4,575.00. <br />Francisco Gutierrez <br />Attachments: 1.
