Adopt a resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency to submit <br /> applications for funding consideration under the State-Local Partnership Program through the <br /> Orange County Transportation Authority. <br /> <br /> 2. Adopt a resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency to submit <br /> applications for funding consideration under the Measure M2 Environmental Cleanup <br /> Program through the Orange County Transportation Authority <br /> <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> <br /> The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has issued a call for projects under the State- <br /> Local Partnership Program (SLPP) and Measure M2 Environmental Cleanup Program (ECP). <br /> The SLPP grants are for fiscal year 12/13. The ECP grants are for fiscal years 12/13 through 17-18 <br /> for the Tier 1 ECP grants. The Tier 1 Grant Program provides $100,000 per project and a maximum <br /> of $500,000 per funding cycle. <br /> <br /> Funding in the amount of $1,623,840 is available through the SLPP formula for arterial rehabilitation <br /> projects. The City will be submitting three priority projects totaling $1,623,840, and three back-up <br /> projects totaling $1,225,000 for the SLPP grants. <br /> <br /> Funding in the amount of $19.5 million is available in the Measure M2 Environmental Cleanup <br /> Program for projects which help protect Orange County beaches and waterways from <br /> transportation-generated pollution (urban runoff), and improve overall water quality. The City will be <br /> submitting three Measure M2 Environmental Cleanup Program projects totaling $464,935. <br /> <br /> The City will utilize existing and future local and Measure M2 funds to provide the required matching <br /> funds for all of the requested projects. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 55A-1 <br />
