RESOLUTION NO. 2012-018 <br />Iss5/10/12 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS <br />FOR FUNDING UNDER THE STATE-LOCAL PARTNERSHIP <br />PROGRAM FORMULA GRANT UNDER THE PROPOSITION 1B <br />HIGHWAY SAFETY, TRAFFIC REDUCTION, AIR QUALITY, AND <br />PORT SECURITY BOND ACT OF 2006 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and <br />declares as follows: <br />A. On November 7, 2006, the people of the State of California enacted <br />Proposition 1B, the Highway Safety, Traffic Reduction, Air Quality and <br />Port Security Bond Act of 2006 (Prop 1B), which makes State-Local <br />Partnership Program (SLPP) funds available to the Orange County <br />Transportation Authority (OCTA). <br />B. OCTA has established the procedures and criteria for nominating <br />proposals for Projects to be funded through the SLPP. <br />Section 2.
