AGREEMENTS <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to <br />execute the following agreements, subject to non-substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney and/or <br />actions as noted on the Request for Council Action report. (Item 25A <br />through 25C and 25E through 251) <br />25A UPPER NEWPORT BAY TMDL COMPLIANCE (NON-GENERAL FUND) - <br />Public Works Agency <br />AGMT NO. 2012-134 - With the County of Orange to Fund Nutrient, <br />Fecal Coliform and Toxics Total Maximum Daily Load Programs in the <br />Newport Bay Watershed in an amount not to exceed $175,000--County <br />Agreement No. D11-066. <br />AGMT NO. 2012-135 - With the County of Orange for a <br />reimbursement in an amount not to exceed $60,000--County <br />Agreement No. D12-030. <br />25B AGMT NO. 2012-136 - AMENDMENT - STREET AND MEDIAN TREE <br />MAINTENANCE - With West Coast Arborists, Inc. extending the current <br />.agreement for three years through fiscal year 2014/2015, for a contract <br />amount not to exceed $765,000 annually for the term of the agreement <br />(Parks, Recreation & Community Services Agency) - Public Works Agency <br />25C AGMT NO. 2012-137 - IMPLEMENTATION OF EUCLID TRAFFIC <br />SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION (PROJECT 126768) NON-GENERAL <br />FUND - Coorperative Agreement with the City of Fullerton for 20 percent <br />match in the amount of $29,900 - Public Works Agency <br />25D AMENDMENT - -STEP 2 ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS FOR SANTA <br />ANA-GARDEN GROVE FIXED GUIDEWAY PROJECT (PROJECT <br />126766) NON-GENERAL FUND <br />Councilmember Sarmiento asked staff to clarify amendment request. <br />Interim City Engineer Souri Amirani noted that funds advanced by OCTA. <br />Noted that OCTA agreed to advance Step 3 money for additional work <br />required in Step 2. Step 1 was study, that has been completed. Step 2 is <br />environmental documents, which is current phase. Step 3 will be project <br />development. City Council had previous approved amendment for <br />addition of IOS.
