The bid documents <br />require the contractor to be selected based on the lowest base bid. The lowest base bid was <br />submitted by Excel Paving Company, Inc. for $738,133. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended action is <br />exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. 2011-76 has <br />been filed for this project. In addition, a Certification of Categorical Exemption and a Statutory <br />Worksheet have been prepared in accordance with the National Environment Policy Act. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The funding analysis shows a total estimated construction cost of $959,573 for the project <br />(Exhibit 2).
