SECTION 1, COMPANY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE <br />ABOUT CENTRAL PARKING <br />Central Parking System is North America's largest parking services provider. The <br />company owns, operates and manages parking and related services including: <br />parking meter enforcement; design consultation; toll-road collections; parking notice <br />and collection services; surface and multi-level parking facilities; customer and em- <br />ployee shuttle services; valet and special event parking. <br />The Company operates approximately 2,500 parking facilities containing 1.2 million <br />spaces with 17,000 employees. We have 500 active staff members within a 25 mile radius of Santa Ana, 22 of <br />them are highly skilled managers. We have an additional 1,500 employees serving <br />the greater Los Angeles area. In addition, Central Parking will utilize our current <br />enforcement staff in Newport Beach for mentoring and training of our team in Santa <br />Ana. We also will have the ability to mobilize additional staff with short notice by <br />cross training our Newport Beach Enforcement Staff in Santa Ana. This will ensure <br />uninterrupted service as well as our ability to extend our enforcement efforts, should <br />the City of Santa Ana desire. <br />We also have a proven and established record of success with a variety of parking <br />equipment, techniques and policies in operating municipal systems. We are well- <br />versed in the recommendation, implementation and management of state-of-the-art <br />parking equipment, as we utilize these technologies at numerous company-owned <br />and managed facilities, as well as with on and off street parking operations. <br />Across the Americas, Central has built a reputation for providing innovative and <br />effective systems for the management and operation of both municipal enforcement <br />and on-street & off-street parking programs.
