C. Convert the Form Data into the Appropriate XML Structure <br />Data submitted to the ILJAOC portal must be sent in eXtensible Markup Language <br />(XML). Further, this data must be structured correctly so that it can be used by the <br />portal. ATIMS will compose an XML message from the PC Dec form data. Further, the <br />message will follow the structure defined by ILJAOC and given to ATIMS by the City. <br />D. Send the XML Message to the ILJAOC Portal <br />ATIMS will develop the ability to take the XML message based on the PC Dec and send <br />it to the ILJAOC Portal. This feature will be incorporated into its PreBook and Probable <br />Cause module. The control will be user initiated and not an automatic function, allowing <br />the user to bypass if needed. Further the message will be sent via a web service using <br />Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) 1.2. <br />E. Provide the User with Appropriate Feedback <br />When the XML message is sent to the ILJAOC portal, it will be validated upon <br />submission against the ILJAOC portal's XML data structure definition by the ILJAOC <br />portal. If the message is accepted, then the portal will immediately send back a message <br />saying the transmission was successful. However, if the message is rejected, then the <br />portal will immediately return a message indicating failure. ATIMS will provide the user <br />with feedback based on this return message letting them know whether their form data <br />was transmitted successfully or if there was a problem and it failed. <br />4. Contract Type <br />The contract will be a firm fixed price contract for professional services required for this <br />enhancement. <br />5. Acceptance Criteria <br />The requirements detailed in section 3. Scope of this SOW will be used as to define <br />successful completion and acceptance of this enhancement and that all contractual <br />requirements have been met. <br />6. Period of Performance <br />Professional services will begin as soon as practical upon the signing of the contract. The <br />enhancement will be completed, operational, and accepted by a date to be mutually <br />agreed upon by the Santa Ana Police Department and ATIMS. <br />25B-32
