Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Renew the contract with Solorio, Inc. for painting services for a one-year period in an annual amount <br />not to exceed $95,000. <br />DISCUSSION <br />City departments require painting services for general maintenance, building modifications, graffiti <br />control and renovation. The contract for painting services provides fixed pricing for all City buildings, <br />including libraries, recreation and senior centers, park facilities, City Hall, the Police Administration <br />and Holding Facility, and the Corporate Yard. <br />On July 7, 2008, the City Council awarded to Solorio, Inc. a contract for a two-year period, with <br />provision for two one-year renewals. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the past contract <br />period and has agreed to renew the contract without an increase in pricing. Staff recommends the <br />final renewal of the contract.
