Debbie McEwen, 23 -year Resident of French Park in Santa Ana —
'As a twenty three year resident of Santa Ana, 1 have never felt as hopeful for the success of the Downtown as 1
do now. Now, thanks to the hard work of Downtown Inc, 1 can invite friends from outside the city to dinner or
Art Walk activities and I'm assured we will have a fun, safe, entertaining time."
Lubna Debbini & Victor Gomez, Residents of Santa Ana —
"I am a long -time resident of Santa Ana and have worked in the city for over 14 years. The revitalization efforts
have made such a big difference in how 1 feel about the city and how 1 interact with it. My husband and 1 now go
Downtown for dining and entertainment (instead of leaving the city to spend our money elsewhere). In addition,
when our friends come to visit, we take them Downtown to showcase the beautiful and vibrant atmosphere.
I'm always delighted to see the late night crowds walking around a city that used to have the highest crime
reputation. We are so encouraged by the developments, that we've chosen to purchase an investment property
(in addition to our primary home) in the city of Santa Ana. Santa Ana is not what it used to be, and that is
thanks in large part to the efforts of DTI. We need to appreciate them and support them in all their efforts to
uplift our city and neighborhoods."
22
