Mitigation of Disturbances <br />• All noise generated by the Event shall remain within levels specified in SAMC <br />Section 18-132. Specifically noise levels shall not exceed 55 db between the hours of <br />7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and not to exceed 50 db between the hours of 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. <br />SAMC Section 10-153 (Loud and Raucous Notice) must be abided by all at all times. <br />• No speakers outside booths and no live entertainment are allowed except on the <br />approved stages or by prior city approval. <br />• There will be NO amplified music or vocal presentations allowed in vendor booths <br />within the event except where previously authorized in writing by the City and on the <br />approved stages. <br />Booth Construction and Set -Up <br />• All booths' canopy support poles closest to the public sidewalk must be kept pushed <br />up to the curb at all times. The front support posts may not be placed past the gutter. <br />• Vendor booths are prohibited from placing items on the public sidewalk except in <br />those areas as approved on the official site plan. <br />• Vendor booths are prohibited from attaching rear tarps or stacking merchandise that <br />obstructs street visibility to the retail storefronts behind the booths. <br />• Portable fire extinguishers are required for booths and rides, based on Fire <br />Department requirements. <br />• Tables, chairs or other items may not be placed in front of the approved booth <br />locations. <br />Safety and Security <br />• A 20-foot wide fire lane must be maintained behind each stage at all times. Any <br />vehicles blocking this area will be towed at the owner's expense. <br />• Access must be provided for emergency vehicles at all times of a minimum 20 foot <br />width on all streets, unless otherwise approved in advance by City. <br />• Additional fencing and protection for the entertainment stages, fencing for Federal <br />Courthouse, and any additional storefront protection as deemed necessary by the City <br />Police Department must be provided by Event Producer at its own cost. <br />Clean-Up/Trash <br />• All booths and the surrounding areas must be maintained in a clean condition at all <br />times. It is prohibited to dump trash, food, etc. on the event grounds. It is further <br />prohibited to dump grease anywhere, except in pre -approved containers. Failure tc <br />follow these rules will result in loss of security deposit. <br />Booth Activities <br />Interactive equipment used by vendors must be approved by City prior to its use to <br />prevent the use of items that are deemed to be a danger to patrons. <br />Vendors must maintain adequate staff for crowd control for activities that result in <br />long lines, such as wheel of fortune, sample distribution, games, etc. <br />Flyers, newspapers, and/or pamphlets may not be distributed as the primary activity <br />by booth vendors or sponsors without prior City approval. <br />
