C -1 -3024 Vendor CA VTvc(d <br />2 BY AND BETWEEN <br />3 ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY <br />4 AND <br />5 THE CITIES SANTA ANA, ANAHEIM, ORANGE, PLACENTIA, TUSTIN <br />6 AND <br />7 THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />8 FOR <br />9 IMPLEMENTATION OF <br />10 THE TUSTIN AVENUE /ROSE DRIVE PROJECT FUNDED AS PART OF THE MEASURE M2 <br />11 REGIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION PROGRAM (PROJECT P) <br />12 THIS AGREEMENT, is effective this -2/ day of 2012 by and between <br />13 the Orange County Transportation Authority, 550 South Main Stre P.O. Box 14184, Orange, <br />14 California 92863 -1584, a public corporation of the State of California (hereinafter referred to as <br />15 "AUTHORITY "), and the Cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Orange, Placentia, Tustin, and the State of <br />16 California (hereinafter referred to as the "PARTICIPATING AGENCIES "). <br />17 WHEREAS, the AUTHORITY in cooperation with the PARTICIPATING AGENCIES are <br />18 working together in coordinating traffic signals across multiple jurisdictional boundaries as a part of the <br />19 Renewed Measure M (M2) Regional Traffic Signal Synchronization Program Project P (Project P) to <br />20 enhance countywide traffic flow and reduce congestion; and <br />21 WHEREAS, AUTHORITY has completed the competitive 2010 Call for Projects (hereinafter, <br />22 "2010 CALL ") in support of Project P and awarded Project P funds based on the application <br />23 (hereinafter, "APPLICATION') prepared by the City of Santa Ana (hereinafter referred to as the <br />24 "APPLICANT AGENCY ") for implementation of signal synchronization of traffic signals along Tustin <br />25 Avenue / Rose Drive Corridor (hereinafter, 'PROJECT'); and <br />26 WHEREAS, the PARTICIPATING AGENCIES in their approved APPLICATION have elected <br />Page 1 of 17 <br />
