8. Outline of On-the-Job Training Plan and Method of Assessment: <br /> ELEMENTS OF TRAINING HOURS OF TRAINING <br />1. Will be trained to effectively manage an office. <br />a) Perform administrative duties (filing, photocopying and faxing) in an 40 <br /> efficient and timely manner <br />b) Communicate in a friendly and professionally manner when greeting <br /> Customers in person or telephone <br />c) Answer, manage telephone calls, and respond to requests while <br /> working independently with minimal supervision <br />d) Maintain a professional work environment at all times <br />Measu rement Method: Q 8c A, task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve <br />rate of roficienc within first Month trainin <br />2. Will be trained on Thoroughbred software <br />a) Identify challenges and solicit assistance to develop resolutions 190 <br />b) Transferring multiple reports run in Thoroughbred into one Excel <br /> document <br />c) Support Controller on a daily basis. Perform research and reconciliation <br /> functions necessary to update and maintain account Information as <br /> assigned by Controller <br />Measurement Method: Q 8c A, task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve <br />rate of roficienc within subse uent two. <br />3. Will be trained on how to file California State Sales 8c Use tax returns <br /> <br />iss , <br />uing 1099-MISC <br />170 <br />a) Research and reconciliation of vendor statements <br />b) Analyzing, inputting, and posting invoices <br />c) Prepare weekly payables spreadsheets <br />d) Running weekly payable reports <br />e) Auditing and processing employee travel reports and expense reports <br />f) Performing monthly A/P reconciliations <br />g) Research special projects as assigned <br />Measurement Method: Q 8c A task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate <br />of proficiency within subsequent three and a half months. <br />4. Will be trained in computing and paying commission and other <br />acc ounting duties to include but no limited to: 120 <br />a) Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory <br /> level; anticipating needed supplies inventory by ;placing and <br /> expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies <br />b) Coordinating Travel and assisting in any event planning and procedures <br />c) Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance <br /> requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; <br /> evaluating new equipment and techniques <br />d) Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning <br /> administrative projects; expediting work results <br />In addition will artici ate ins ecial ro'ects as assi ned. <br />RATING LEVELS: <br />Measwement method: how will it be determined if OJT participant acquired the skill?
