ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br />MINUTES <br />10A MINUTES FROM THE REGULAR MEETING OF JULY 2, 2012 - Clerk of <br />the Council Office <br />MOTION: Approve corrected Minutes. <br />MISCELLANEOUS ADMINISTRATION <br />19A CLOSED SESSION REPORT - City Attorney's Office <br />MOTION: Approve as follow: <br />Approve settlement agreement in the amount of $17,000.00 - Bruce Guy <br />vs. City of Santa Ana, WCAB Case #s ADJ2559431; ADJ3375759, <br />ADJ4648685; ADJ 1908933; ADJ4541734. <br />Approve settlement - Jesus DeLaBarcena vs. City of Santa Ana, WCAB <br />Case # UNASSIGNED. <br />Provided direction - Gerald Peebler, et al. vs. State of California <br />Department of Finance, et al., Superior Court of Sacramento, Case #34- <br />2012-80001172-CU-WM-GDS. <br />Authority to settle matter in the amount of $16,800.00 - Department of <br />Toxic Substances Control vs. City of Santa Ana, HWCA Docket 2011- <br />4049; Enforcement Order Settlement Request. <br />Authorize the City Attorney's Office to proceed with contracting with Mitch <br />Abbott of Richards, Watson and Gershon to represent and defend the City <br />Clerk, up to and including any emergency writ and/or appeals - Max <br />Madrid vs. Maria Huizar, in her capacity as City Clerk for the City of Santa <br />Ana, Case No. 00581679. <br />19B EXCUSED ABSENCES - None <br />19C DESTRUCTION OF OBSOLETE CITY RECORDS - Finance Management <br />Services <br />MOTION: Approve the requests for the destruction of obsolete <br />records from various City departments in accordance with the <br />retention schedule outlined in City Council Resolution 2006-045. <br />*Mayor Pro Tern Alvarez recorded a "No" vote on Agenda Item 19C. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 6 JULY 16, 2012
