RECITAL S <br />.--, <br />coo A. The City requires the services of a person skilled and experienced in public safety <br />information technology planning, acquisition, implementation and best practices to assist <br />o with developing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for modernizing the police department's <br />existing computer aided dispatch (CAD), records management system (RMS), mobile <br />system, and associated interfaces (Police Integrated Information Technology 5ystem). <br />B. Consultant has the professional qualification and experience to provide such services and <br />City desires to retain the Consultant for such services in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions hereinafter set forth; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED. The City hereby retains Consultant, and Consultant <br />hereby accepts such engagement, to provide technological information and advice to support <br />the Information Technology Integration Project, as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />incorporated by reference. Consultant's duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be <br />limited to the following: <br />1. Frepare a Project Plan <br />2. Develop an Integrated Solution Request for Proposal (RFP) <br />3. Assist with Vendor Evaluation and Selection <br />4. Assist with Contract Development <br />2. OBLIGATION OF CITY. City shall provide Consultant with all pertinent data, documents, <br />other information necessary to identify current technologies and operations abilities which <br />the Police Department seeks to implement through additional. technology. If necessary, the <br />City will provide office space and computer equipment for Consultant's use while on City <br />property. 3. COMPENSATION AND PAYMENT. City shall pay Consultant compensation <br />at the rate of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per hour, based on the deliverables set forth in <br />Exhibit A, attached hereto, for all services to be provided pursuant to this Agreement, not to <br />exceed twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) without prior City approval.. Consultant <br />shall submit monthly invoices to City for the services performed. Invoices shall be submitted <br />to the City's designated project manager, Commander Jim Schnabl. City shall make payment <br />to Cit Com, lnc. (Employer Identification Number: 88-0456338) within thirty (30) days after <br />receipt of the invoice, subject to City accounting procedures. <br />2 ?, 5 ? t -?° won
