PROCEDURAL RULES <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2012-16 AND VARIANCE NO. 2012-05 <br />Filed by Wesley Chu to allow the Sender One Climbing LLC a conditional use permit <br />and variance for an indoor sports facility that exceeds the allowable building and <br />sign height standards at 1441 South Village Way located in the Light Industrial (M1) <br />zoning district. <br />' PUBLISHED IN THE ORANGE COUNTY REPORTER: August 3, 2012 <br />PUBLICLY NOTICED: August 2, 2012 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend that the Planning Commission adopt a resolution: <br />1. Approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2012-16 as conditioned. <br />2. Approving Variance No. 2012-05 (a) as conditioned to exceed the maximum <br />building height. <br />3. Approving Variance No. 2012-05 (b) as conditioned to allow signage on the <br />building that is higher than 20 feet above the ground. <br />Principal Planner Vince Fregoso presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />No written communications were received. <br />The public hearing was opened. Applicants Wesley Chu and Wesley Chiu and <br />contractor Richard Lucas spoke in support of the project. The public hearing was <br />closed. <br />MOTION: <br />' 1.
