City of Santa Ana
Environmental Checklist
molding. The proposed project does not include any uses identified by the SCAQMD as being
associated with odors and therefore would not produce objectionable odors.
Odors resulting from the construction of the proposed project are not likely to affect a substantial
number of people due to the fact that construction activities do not usually emit offensive odors.
Potential odor emitters during construction activities include asphalt paving and the use of
architectural coatings and solvents. SCAQMD Rules 1108 and 1113 limit the amount of VOCs from
cutback asphalt and architectural coatings and solvents, respectively. Given mandatory compliance
with SCAQMD rules, no construction activities or materials are proposed that would create a
significant level of objectionable odors. As such, potential impacts during short -term construction
would be less than significant. No mitigation measures are required.
.. ..7 ...a •a .su anwi 012
Initial Study /Mitigated Negative Declaration 3-29 June 2 ICf Oe 2 12
31 B -105
