Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />The City has an existing legal services agreement with Richards Watson Gershon. The <br />agreement was approved by the City Manager upon the recommendation of the City Attorney. <br />The agreement provides for payment of up to $25,000 for legal services rendered in connection <br />with the Max Madrid v. City of Santa Ana case. The total fees incurred in successfully defending <br />the matter were $36,545.42. These fees are in excess of the City Manager's contracting authority <br />and require City Council approval for payment. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Upon approval of the additional funding, funds will be available in the General Non-Departmental <br />Accounting Unit - Contract Services, Professional account (account no. 01105015 62300). <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />-AcIuA' ? - C?
