HUIZAR, Clerk of the Council <br />COUNCIL RECESSED to Room 147 for Closed Session discussion at 5:10 p.m. <br />CLOSED SESSION ITEMS - The Brown Act permits legislative bodies to discuss certain matters <br />without members of the public present. The City Council finds, based on advice from the City Attorney, <br />that discussion in open session of the following matters will prejudice the position of the City in existing <br />and anticipated litigation: <br />1A CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL--ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(b) <br />Property and Business Improvement District ("PBID")/Community <br />Management District (CMD), Downtown Inc. * <br />*Mayor Pulido, and Councilmembers Martinez and Sarmiento declared a Conflict of Interest, left the <br />room and did not participate in the discussion of the matter. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 1 SEPTEMBER 4, 2012
