Goals /Objectives and Performance Levels <br />1. How will your program meet the WIA performance goals listed below? The Orange <br />County Conservation Corps will attain the following performance goals: <br />a. 65% Placement in Employment or Education <br />b. 61 % Attainment of Degree or Certificate <br />c. 40% Literacy Numeracy Gains <br />2. Please indicate last _year's performance measures for your agencv: <br />Entered Employment / Education Rate <br />740 <br />Diploma / Certificate Rate <br />75% <br />Literacy / Numeracy Rate <br />76% <br />I Describe how you will monitor program activity and manage for performance:All Santa <br />Ana participants will be assigned to one Program Specialist who will monitor all the WIA <br />Participants on an ongoing basis, including: work, education, and career development. Program <br />Specialist will meet with the Crew Supervisor weekly, will work with participants on their ISS, <br />and will meet with the participant's teacher.The Program Specialist will ensure that the <br />participants who are lacking in any of the above components, the Program Specialist and <br />appropriate staff will meet to discuss and strategize a plan to help participants succeed. <br />4. How will continuous improvement to the program be measured and conducted ?The <br />Orange County Conservation Corps will utilize the following strategies and activities: WIA <br />satisfactory surveys;WIA Corps Member community meeting monthly; Work sponsor survey <br />evaluation; Monthly internal monitoring days for full staff that relate to program evaluation, <br />mission, planned, etc.; multiple program / grant site reviews and audits for program /grant <br />compliance. <br />F. Facilities <br />1. State location where program services will be delivered. Program services will be delivered <br />in a variety of venues and locations: <br />• Paid work experience will be at various projects throughout the county depending on the <br />current work project assigned; <br />• All other program services (education, case management, transition services, follow up, etc.) <br />will generally be delivered at the Orange County Conservation Corps' main site in Anaheim. <br />However, staff will visit field projects and make home visits as needed to deliver case <br />management services.
