SUNSHINE ORDINANCE <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />The six initiatives covered by the proposed Sunshine Ordinance are: <br />1. Site Plan Review Pre-Application Meetings <br />2. Increased Notification of City Legislative Meetings <br />3. RFP Evaluation Panels <br />4. Budget Outreach and Strategic Plan <br />5. Open Calendars <br />6. Lobbyist Registrations <br />DISCUSSION <br />Staff has incorporated the suggestions made at the Work Study Session and have reflected <br />them in the attached ordinance marked in red. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There are fiscal impacts associated with implementation of any or all of these items. <br />Additional staff resources are needed to implement a variety of these proposals. Further, <br />there are specific impacts to the business community for requirements associated with the <br />additional notification requirement during the Site Plan Review process.. A more detailed <br />analysis would need to be done to obtain a more thorough fiscal impact. <br />50A-2
