Steve Ray, Green <br /> Orange radio host, spoke in support of project asked to work with ad hoc <br /> committee. Deborah Davis, Irvine resident, in support of saving the orchard and <br /> farmhouse proposed strategic plan for emergency/homeless shelter for women <br /> over 50. <br /> <br /> Matt Forrest, resident, does not support residential development in the middle of <br /> the park and elementary school, recommends study for sustaining urban <br /> agriculture and expanding the open space. <br /> <br /> Dwight Schroeder, resident, supports preservation of orchard and not <br /> commercial development. The public hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> MOTION: <br /> 1. Receive public testimony on alternatives to the demolition of the Sexiinger <br /> Farmhouse and Orchard. <br /> ' 2.
